Episode 2: How I Lost over 40 Pounds

Today on Living Your Big Bold Life Podcast, I share about my health journey. On this brief 10 minute episode I share a few tips that helped me lose over 40 pounds. My weight loss journey did not happen overnight, no lasting weight loss ever does.

The first photo is from a trip I mention in the podcast. Spencer and I had recently been invited to go on a last minute vacation with some good friends. Earlier that year I had given birth to my son (baby #4) and the getaway was much needed. Looking back I remember feeling a little uncomfortable as this was the heaviest I had been in my adult life.

The second photo is from a vacation Spencer and I took in May 2019. I felt strong, confident and comfortable in my own skin again. So much had changed since that trip in late 2015.

“However, my weight loss is only part of the story, the best part has been all of the other benefits I have seen as a result of my health journey.”

-I have more energy
-I am less bloated
-I am stronger
-I am more confident
-I am being a positive example to friends and family
-I crave movement
-I don’t get sick as often
-I have less anxiety and down moments
-My ability and desire to give back to those around me has grown
-I need less sleep
-My purpose has become more clear
